The area of the state is the home to Sky West Airlines and has large distribution centers for both Wal-Mart and Family Dollar. These employers alone have brought in thousands of new jobs. Overall, the city has a very low unemployment rate of just 3.2%, which is well below the state and national averages.

This is a big increase compared to the year 2000 when the home values were well under $200,000.
